About Lewes Golden

Lewes is our Farm Business Planning Coordinator based in Toowoomba. He supports all primary producers throughout Southern Queensland.

Having worked as a Rural Financial Counsellor at the RFCS Southern Queensland for over 8 years, Lewes has extensive experience assisting primary producers to understand their farm business’s financial position, as well as identifying options that will improve their financial situation.

He has supported a wide range of primary producers including broadacre and intensive cropping, dairy, livestock, horticulture and other intensive enterprises. This included looking at ways to improve cash flow, reviewing loan arrangements and refinancing options, negotiating with banks, together with supporting primary producers during disasters.

Lewes has a rural background, having grown up on his family’s cattle property in inland Queensland, as well as working on other cattle and grain properties (including in management roles). Additionally, Lewes has experience as a trainee accountant, practice manager for an accounting firm and has been self employed as a share and derivative trader.

Lewes works alongside primary producers, enhancing their knowledge and skills, to improve whole of farm management, business performance and overall profitability.

He has a Diploma of Community Services (Financial Counselling) and an Associate Diploma of Farm Management from Marcus Oldham.

Lewes works with other Farm Business Planning Specialists located throughout Southern Queensland.
